Drink Smart
Responsible Drinking
We love a good night as much as anyone. That means we care about everyone getting home safe and feeling okay tomorrow.
🍺
You must be 19+ to order
The legal drinking age in British Columbia is 19. We verify ID on every delivery — no exceptions. It's the law, and we take it seriously.
Drink Smarter
💧
Alternate with water
Drink a glass of water between alcoholic drinks. It slows your pace, reduces dehydration, and you'll feel significantly better the next morning.
🍽️
Eat before and during
Food slows alcohol absorption and reduces its peak effect. Don't drink on an empty stomach — especially with spirits.
⏱️
Know your pace
Your liver processes roughly one standard drink per hour. Drinking faster than that means alcohol is accumulating in your system, not leaving it.
🚗
Never drink and drive
There is no safe amount of alcohol to consume before driving. Call a cab, use a rideshare, or ask a sober friend. No exceptions.
👥
Look out for each other
Know the signs of alcohol poisoning: unconsciousness, slow or irregular breathing, blue-tinged skin, vomiting. If in doubt, call 911.
🛑
Know when to stop
Feeling dizzy, slurring words, or losing coordination are your body's signals to stop. Listen to them. The night will still be good.
What counts as one standard drink?
Canada's low-risk drinking guidelines suggest no more than 2 standard drinks per day for women and 3 for men, with no more than 10 (women) or 15 (men) per week.
Signs of alcohol poisoning
Call 911 immediately if someone shows any of these signs:
- —Unconscious or unresponsive
- —Slow, irregular, or stopped breathing (fewer than 8 breaths per minute)
- —Blue-tinged or pale skin
- —Vomiting while unconscious
- —Seizures
- —Extremely cold or clammy skin
Never leave an unconscious person alone. Place them in the recovery position and stay with them until help arrives.
